Blue Bay Bike Taxis are coming on nicely.

So exciting to be giving our Blue Bay bike taxis an initial try-out. There’s still a little work to go to finish them off but we’re almost there! These hop on / hop off taxis can take 2 -3 passengers at a time on a tour of the harbour, linking Mariners with the Bay Harbour Market. Payment will be on a tips based system. This is an initial 3 month pilot project aiming to spread the Blue Bay 2030 message: plastic recycling and respect for the environment while creating income generating opportunities for some fit Hout Bayers who want to share their love of the bay. If you’re interested in getting involved as a bike operator, please contact Craig Dunlop at Hout Bay Yacht Club.
